About Me

I'm Kasia (rhymes with Posh-a), a Chicago gal that's been trekking the globe since I was old enough to walk.   As a child, instead of road trips down to Orlando, my family backpacked through remote villages in Central America.   My siblings and I were shipped off to rural Poland every summer where we picked strawberries and tended livestock.  In high school AND college, I studied abroad in Japan...three times.  Upon graduation,  I served in the Peace Corps in Senegal, Africa for two years, lived in Manhattan for two more, moved back across the ocean to Mali, Africa for one year, and then to Washington DC for two more.  These days, I call Houston home where I live with my hubby (D-Mac), our Boston Terrier (Tito), and a baby (Baby Mac) on the way.

I intend for this blog to be shared with family and friends with  our stories and adventures which likely will include home decorating, pregnancy, Houston, married life, and... travel will undoubtedly sneak in there I am sure.
